  • Is this enough to prove a relationship?

We are though the USCIS, and NVC. We are about to have the interview at the US embassy.

We are the same age (within a year). We have a common bank account with records back over a year. We have utility bills to prove that we share a common address. We have five dated digital photographs taken at different locations, and dates over the last two years. We have her ring and the receipt for it. We have the wedding rings and the receipt for them. We have a photograph of her dress, and of my jacket. We have a photograph of our home altar to the Buddha. We have our flight itinerary, reservation, and passport stamps to prove we went to Bali together.

We have shared a flat for over a year. Only my name is on the lease because leased it before I met her. They want money to modify the lease.

    I have never filed a k1 before.

Oh good plan. I can make a simple chart with the timeline.

We found a list of 40 likely questions, and printed it. She wrote in her answers. The list is a study guide for her only. That way she will not forget anything in the excitement. No we will not take the list with her.

Questions are stuff like "where did you meet?", and "does he have children?".

In my own opinion K1 interview is just a formality. All you need to do is to file all the the documents they required and the supporting documents like letter of intent to marry and IRS tax W2. Just relax on the interview

It seems a lot of this stuff is formalities. The USCIS took 11 days of actual processing. The NVC took about the same. The embassy took only seven days to send us the letter.
