Working abroad while waiting for K-1 visa. Help pls.

Hi everyone! Just need some piece of advise cos I'm a bit lost. Me and my fiancé haven't started the Petition application yet 'cos we're waiting for my departure to saudi. I'm a Filipina, he's an American Citizen. It is possible for us to process the petition and K-1 visa even if I'm in saudi or outside of my home country? Your advise will be so much appreciated! God bless us all.

Yes, you can be processed for a fiancee visa in Saudi. But keep in mind that if you are on a contract there, you might have problems terminating your contract when it comes time to interview for your visa and to leave Saudi. Some employer will charge a large fee to leave the contract prematurely.

Yey! Thanks a lot Ray B! I'm gonna work there as a Staff nurse, and my contract is renewable every 10 months. So it's up to me to renew the contract or not after 10 months. Oh by the way, he's (my fiancé) coming back here in the Philippines tomorrow. Up until the March 19. And my flight to saudi would be on 21st. Hmmmmmm just sharing. thanks a lot. God bless
