My fiance is going through gathering of required documents to get her interview done at her country. I'm trying to get stuff sorted out when she comes over to USA and get married.
1) We'll get married at city hall -- obtain marriage certificate
2) we'll file for I-485, I-131 and I-765 altogether.
3) In order to submit I-485, we have to get her I-693 (medical exam). She's done a medical exam in her country for her interview, wouldn't that be sufficient? or does she need to get it done again when she's in USA? How much does that cost?
4) Any documents/stuff she must bring from her country when filing 485/131/765? So far, i've identified foreign birth certificate, passport photo.
5) Since all of her documents overseas will not be in English, she needs to get it translated. Can she do it herself and get it notarized/certified? Or does she needs to get it from some professional services?
Thank you all!
