I am getting ready to attend the interview for my fiance in Honduras in November. I have researched and feel fairly confident she will be granted her visa. My question is Will I have enough on my I-134. I make over $35,000 a year and have some money in the bank. Can I include my 401K deposits as Stocks? I have checked and it says I need 125% of the poverty linewhich is around $13,000.I have no dependants. I think I am passed that and have many years of tax returns to prove that. I am getting ready to have the form notarized and would apreciate any advice I might get.

timinden,
Don't worry. You are more than fine. You only need to include information on your assets (including stocks and shares) if you do not make 125% over the poverty level for the current year. You are also wise to plan on bringing past tax returns with you to the interview.
All the best for your interview.

Thanks, but I'm still worried
Thanks for your response. I have worried over this for weeks now, and there is less than two weeks left for her interview. I hope that by my attending the interview that it will help. I have all my original documents I.E., Birth certificate, 3 years tax forms, letters from my banks, bank statements, check stubs, anything I could think of that they might ask for with the I-134. I have made 3 copies of everything. Can anyone tell me, if there was something a consular asked them for that I havent thought of? I have searched and searched for something else that I might need. My fiance' has everything that she needs from the list in the packet, and since I am attending the interview, it will be very hard for me to fax her any aditional documents?

I assume you already have evidence of an ongoing relationship? These include photos, e-mails, letters, cards, etc. Also prepare an updated letter of intent to marry. The letter basically states you are legally able and willing to marry so-and-so within 90 days of her arrival in the United States.

Yes, I have evidence of an ongoing relationship, money transfer receipts, emails, cards, passport stamps for 3 different visits. I did not think about a new letter of intent. Do you think my atending the interview is going to help provide that? I will have us both write letters again and take those as well.
