K1 Visa - Embassy interview preparation question

Hi,

I received the package from the embassy of my city of residency (Budapest).
I am originally from France. So I have my birth certificate and police certificate document in French.
I have been checking around concerning the translations I need to have for those two documents.
Do I need to make them translated by an official translator, or having someone fluent in French and English, and attesting that he correctly translated those
two documents is enough?
Do I need to make them notarized?



Sorry if it has been asked before, I found several answers and would like some advice.
