My Fiancee went for an interview to Abu Dhabi on feb 20 2014 and is under 221 g admin processing. Any ideas how long this may take? Its been frustrating

Without knowing what the reason was for the Admin Processing, nobody can tell you how long the delay might be.

Were there missing documents, questions about her interview responses, possible prior marriage or children, civil documents?

Your fiancee should give you a copy of the post-interview document or email she received from the Embassy.

Thank you for the reply ,
Well all the form says is Administrative Processing and he wasnt missing any documents , the form only has the Passport box marked and when i checked with a lawyer , they told me that the passport should be submitted once they tell us the processing is done.
I called DOS and they said to keep checking.
Lawyer says there is no need to contact anyone and no need to worry . Main reason his name is a muslim name and we are from Iran .
Alot of males get 221g , but im just frustrated its making us distant and more upset

Did he have an interview, and was his passport returned to him at the interview?

I have had clients from both Iran and Afghanistan whose petitions (Naturalization for one and K1 for the Afghan) to extra checking, separate from the interview location.

Yes Ray, he did have the interview and now its been 3 months we are waiting to hear something. We keep checking the site and yes he does have his passport with him.

Regarding This Administrative Processing, has it ever happened where the visa gets rejected even after UScis approves it? I called DOS and they said all documents are ok and you just need to wait. So i wait but i am nervous if something goes wrong and lets say the worse case scenario he does get rejected , what is the next step!? Only God knows how we feel, frustrated , sad and anxious.

Thank God finally after 112 days he got approved .
