Anyone knows how long it takes to obtain the Affidavit of Lieu? What paperworks do I need to show for me to receive this certificate? Now here is a rather stupid question, it states that if i was previoulsy married, that I show divorce papers, but what if I never was married, do I still need to show some sort of document saying that I am single? Please help me, My fiance and I plan to wed this December..and the stress is building.
