    Hi Ray B,

I will have my interview next week.

I just have a question regarding my fiancee. He has a daughter, born here in the Philippines and he filed a petition and got her last 2012. He's not married. He put the name of his daughter on Form 129F when he filed for my petition.

    Would that be an issue?
Will the consul ask me about his daughter?
If yes, what are the possible questions?

    Thanks for the help.

    Cessa,

If your fiancee put the name of his daughter (not your daughter) on your I-129F petition, he made a mistake. If you are asked about that child during your interview, tell the interviewer that your fiancee misunderstood whose children were supposed to be reported on that form and it is not your daughter. You should also take an attachment to amend the I-129F petition, signed by your fiancee, to remove that child's name from your petition.

      Hi Ray B,

Sorry, my bad.. i meant the affidavit of support NOT in Form 129F.

I don't have a child and he does.

      Thanks!

If you are applying for a K1, fiancee, visa, your petitioner will have to provide you with the simpler Affidavit of Support, form I-134. He is expected to be listing all family members who are dependent on him (his children).

            Hi Ray B,

            Thanks for the reply.

Yup, that's what he did and I already have the form.

            My questions are:

            1. Would that affect the decision for my application since he also petitioned his daughter from here (Philippines) way back 2012?
            2. Are the consulates going to ask me about his daughter?
            3. If yes, what are the possible questions?

            Thanks!

There is nothing unusual about what your fiancee has done and how he filled out your Affidavit of Support. The only questions you might receive will be to satisfy the interviewer that you know something about your fiance's family.

                Thanks, Ray B.

I just thought that it might affect my application since he petitioned his daughter.

But I guess so long as I know him and his family background would be enough.
