  • Nvc contact & payments

    Hi All,

Finally we have had contact from the NVC (after a few calls & emails to them) with our case number and instructions on how to pay the AOS fee. Anyway, we go online to pay it, sign in using the case & invoice number etc only to find that there is no invoice under the AOS section on there for us to pay, & there is a zero balance to pay on the IV invoice which we can't select to pay either. Anybody ever experienced this or know whats happened? Waited a couple of days now thinking it just needed time to load on there, but still nothing. Secondly, tried calling the NVC again to find out whats happened and the phone line doesn't call through, its as if someone at the other end has left the phone off the hook. Anybody ever experience that or know what to do? Finally, settled to email them but not sure if or how long it will take for them to reply. I thought paying the fees should be a relatively easy part to this whole process.

Any help or input is greatly appreciated,

    James

The NVC is currently backlogged and delayed in every step of the processing. If the AOS fee is not allowed to be paid in another week, you may have to call and/or email the NVC notifying them of the website not allowing payment.

Thanks, we've just sent an email & my wife in the US is calling now to try and get through. Is there usually a delay between the case number being issued and the invoices becoming available online for you to pay? Would have thought with the case number being issued we should be at least allowed to pay the fees.

There is as much as 1 - 4 weeks delay from issuance of State Department case number and fee being billed.
