Not that it really matters at this point but I was curious. It states that once a foreign spouse obtains a Green Card it is condition, and after 2 years or marriage you need to change your status before it expires to get permanent green card status.
As it is stated on the USCIS website.
Your permanent residence status is conditional if it is based on a marriage that was less than 2 years old on the day you were given permanent residence. You are given conditional resident status on the day you are lawfully admitted to the United States on an immigrant visa or adjustment of your status to permanent residence.
My Question is, is I am married for 2 years when I apply for my green card then will I get permanent residence immediately, just curious, you assistance is greatly appreciated.
