Affidavit of Support

Hi my wife is a F-1 Visa holder on OPT.

I have filled out form I-130 on my behalf, and she has filled out Form I-485.

As part of Form I-485, I have filled out the Affidavit of Support Form I-864 as mentioned in Form I-485 instructions.

For the affidavit of support, I am required to submit my Federal Tax returns along with a W2, but I don't have the W2 handy. I looked at the Affidavit for K-visas (Form I-134) and it seems that all is required is a bank statement. I know that these aren't the same forms, but would I be safe to just submit my bank statement in lieu of my W2?

The tax return copy is not enough. There must be proof of the income source for the tax return, either W2 or 1099 forms, OR AN IRS TRANSCRIPT.
