Is anyone here who can help us regarding filing of spouse immigration. I know few things which is necessary like I-130 form and G-325a form.
My wife need to start immigration process and would like to know what exact forms will be required and what documents should we submit.

    Second query:
My wife is divorced but she has successfully taken divorce decree with court orders of change in name. Is it possible for her to file with supporting document like divorced decree or does she need to change her name in the passport / citizenship certificate before she applies.

Your wife must include the fee of $420, one passport-style photo each, copies of birth, marriage and any divorce documents. The filing location is Phoenix or Chicago, depending on your wife's state of residence.

      Dear Ray,

Thank you for your reply. What about the other forms like I mentioned G-325 and I-751 etc.
The following documents are enough ? because on USCIS website they ask for series of different documents and I am afraid how to show joint bank accounts, any joint leasing documents because we have got married just a week before.

Please guide on one more thing like if w are filing I-130 for immigration purpose then do we need to file I – 485 ? and is there any temporary visa for spouse until I - 130 gets approve.

      My wife's location is Texas.

        Zain,

Your original query mentioned only "immigration" of wife, which is normally assumed to be for a visa applicant living abroad. Since your wife is now in the U.S., you are actually trying to "convert" or "adjust" her status from whichever visa type she entered the U.S. You will have to add form I-485 with supporting documents, and the additional fee of $1,070, sponsorship and an immigrant medical exam report (I-693).

The I-751 is used for replacement of an expiring Green Card that was issued for two years, to apply for a 10-year Green Card. The G-325A for each of you must be included with the I-130, but only a G-325A for the applicant with the I-485.
