  • In love with a Polish woman

I spent three months abroad traveling across Europe. Oslo was on my itinerary and I met this beautiful girl in the city downtown. She was working in Norway, and had six hours before she had to catch her bus to a small town on the other side of Norway. Those six hours were absolutely **** *al. We just walked around and talked and drank a little rum while at a park overlooking the city. When she left, I couldn't believe what I was feeling for this woman I had just met. I vowed to see her in Poland after she finished her work in Norway. So, I spent $600 to delay my flight (back to USA) and spent two weeks with her in Poland. Over this incredibly short period of time, I fell madly in love with this woman. We spent every hour together. Neither of us were eating much more than a sandwich each entire day. It was a truly **** *al thing, the connection we shared, and especially after just a short time of knowing each other. I told her when I had to catch my flight back that I would marry her someday. She believed me.

Three months later, we are still in contact every day and she has made plans to come to America for six months starting next February. I am more than excited about this, but there are so many logistical things that must happen. We learned that despite our (maybe it seems a little crazy) resolution to get married someday, that a Fiancé Visa isn't an option because we couldn't convince the agents that this was legitimate because of the short time we have known each other. I understand it sounds crazy, but somehow I am more sure about this than I have been of anything else in my life. She thought a tourist visa would be another good option. But, it would be good if she could work in the US, and working isn't possible with a tourist visa. I also just read that this is "dual intentions" because someone would want to come to the US as a tourist, but if they intend on marrying while there, the visa will be denied.

What are my options? I can wait longer and just go to Poland because US citizens have more freedom, but I must finish my degree here, so I could go to Poland for another year. I love this woman more than anything in the whole world, and being apart from her is the most difficult thing I have ever had to experience. How can I get her here in America? Is it possible for her to work while here on any kind of visa? Is there a chance that she will get rejected from the agent in Poland? I really appreciate your help!!!

If you have proof of spending time together in Norway and Poland, photos, documents and receipts with both names, go ahead and submit a fiancee visa petition.

Assuming that you will be denied, when others are not denied after having spent less time together than you and her, is nonconstructive negative thinking.
