Hi for some of you who may have more experience in the timeframe on getting a spousal visa or fiance visa. Would you lets know the timeframe of how long you have to wait if you applied for a spousal visa? Same question to those who submitted an application for fiance visa. Thanks.

I looked into this about a year ago. Spousal visa will be cheaper but will take longer (I think an average of 12 months maybe?). Fiance visa is more expensive (by perhaps a few hundred USD) but faster, roughly 6-8 months depending on country. I decided to go with the fiance visa for a different reason - it seems that many more people choose this option and thus there is more support online.
Whichever you choose, there can always be things that you didn't expect that slow down the process. Expect them.Comment
