Can I apply for a EB3 visa with a pending K1 application ?
Hi !
My fiancé and I have applied for a K1 visa in March 2014. I am in France, still waiting for the approval from USCIS, its been 8th month already !
In the meantime, a US based company wants to hire me. Can I apply for a EB3 work visa while waiting for the K1 ?
If the EB3 visa is granted and I come to the Us to start the job, will I still be able to get married once the K1 is issued ? I am assuming that I will probably have to take a leave to go back to France for the interview and then re-enter the US on a K1 visa, is that correct ?
I am not sure these two visa can co-exist or if one would "cancel" the other. If applying for the EB3 could interfer with my chances to get the K1, I will not accept this job in the US.
