  • Mailing Address on Form I-129F

    1) Under "Alien Fiance's Mailing Address" on this form, do I have to put the current address she is staying at. Can I put her friend's address that she will be receiving mail from?

    2) Is the address above the one that everything will be mailed to her at? Is this also the one that her K-1 Visa would be mailed to?

    3) I saw there is another address section under part 32. She is Korean so I believe this would need to be filled out. Does this need to be the same address listed under the mailing address?

Thanks in advance for your help!

There are two locations on form I-129F for the visa applicant's address. The first location, on page 2, is where the Embassy instructions will be mailed to the fiancee after the petition is approved. The second address, a page or two later, might be the same address or a different address which she can claim as her home.

Does the first address have to be where she is living though? And what about the second address? She has permission from her friend to use her friend's address.

The first address for her, on page 2 of the I-129F, should be where she can receive mail, whether living there or not.

The second address can be the same criteria, but is expected to be where she is "living."
