I-130 , I-129F .. please help , porfavor ayuda

Ya estoy 9 meses esperando decisión de mis peticiones. ¿ Me pueden decir cuando tiempo aun tengo que esperar por decisión ? Es muy dura esta espera si tengo mi marido en Estados Unidos, y yo tengo que esperar a mi país. Soy de la rep.Checa.

Do many of the Czech people speak Spanish?

Can you try to repeat, in English, your earlier question?

My wife, who is from the Philippines was here in California about two days when she turned to me and said, "You have a second language here.." I asked her what she thought was the second language. She responded with "Spanish!"

Since this is California, I couldn't argue that point with her. But it's not quite like Canada or Belgium, where there are two official languages, but almost...

I have been waiting for 9 months for the approval for I30 and I129F
petition. I do not have any answers yet. My Husband is US citizen I am in
The Czech Republic and I have never violated any law anywhere. It is very
frustrating for both of us.




Most of the people here in Czech rep. speak 2 or more languages....it is
mandatory from Jr high school to learn at least 1 more major language

If you submitted the I-129F as a K3 followup to your I-130 petition, the K3 step will probably be ignored, though the form will be approved at the same time asy our I-130 (but then not processed any further when the I-130 is transferred to the National Visa Center).

Most of the "immediate priority" (spousal and parents of U.S. citizens) I-130's are being approved between 4 and 8 months after submittal to USCIS, Stateside.

My friends, in Turkey and Afghanistan, have been experiencing longer than average I-130 processing, possibly because of backup law enforcement database checks of petitioners here in the U.S.

At the very least, however, you should check your receipt numbers against the USCIS status page at: https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

If your husband is Active Duty U.S. military or has changed addresses, that could have contributed to slow processing of your I-130.

In many ways, we sometimes wonder if our students in the U.S. even speak our primary language adequately. Though we have much diversity in the U.S., there is very little motivation to become fluent (or even mildly familiar) with a second language in the U.S.

Spanish-language fluency is very valuable here in business, but the pay increments for being Spanish-fluent is minimal, and most every office or work location in our Eastern urban and Western states generally has one or more Spanish-speaking employee.

I was married 13 years to a Mexican national and could "get by" in Spanish, but pretty much lost it after our divorce 25 years ago. While travelling in Spain a couple years back, my Spanish slowly returned, but would have taken about 3 months for me to get by comfortably (I don't have any particular bilingual talent).

When you get to the U.S., you stand a better chance of being "employment-enhanced" with any Eastern European language, though Spanish will be useful for you. I've seen some very good multilingual Eastern Europeans doing excellent instantaneous Spanish translation work in our courts in California.

Ray, I have one question more please. How long your friends from Turkey and Afghanistan have been waiting ?

Turkey: about a year before petition was approved, then went to the NVC, still at NVC after about 5 months.
Afghanistan: about a year before petition was approved, which included a request for DNA testing (son petitioned mom), still at NVC after about 5+ months.
