  • 129f filling in help please

    Hi,
I am getting all the info together for our K1 application, and have a couple of questions if you would be so kind as to help. I am English and my fiancée is American, she will submit the application, our questions are as follows,

1, I have two children who are both grown up (over 21) who I have no contact with, nor ever likely, they will therefore not be coming to the USA with me now or in the future and will remain in England, do I need to put their details on the 129 form ?

2, Sponsor has a low income but assets (property) more than covers the amount, the plan is for me to find a job with in 12 months of getting there to support us, could this be a problem as we cant think of any co sponsor ? I already have a car there In her name (she also has her own) and in reality expect to be working within a short time of getting my green card, I have enough savings to cover all living costs for 12 months or so.

Any help will be much appreciated

YES, YOU ARE EXPECTED TO LIST YOUR CHILDREN, FOR FUTURE IMMIGRATION REVIEW.

PROPERTY IS DIFFICULT TO USE AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROOF OF INCOME, UNLESS THE PROPERTY CAN BE EASILY CONVERTED TO CASH IN A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME. CARS ARE NOT GOING TO BE CONSIDERED GOOD LIQUID ASSETS.
