  • K-1 Visa, My Fiance moved, do i need to do something?

    Hi,

My fiance had to moved after I filled for her K-1 paperwork. I looked on the website and I only saw links and adjustments for my addresses. Do i need to somehow alert the USCIS that my fiance has moved and how would I do so? Thank you in advance for any help

    Hi

I asked the same question a month ago as my fiancee moved as well. You don't need to do anything. They will ask for her address later on in the process and that's when you can specify the latest address.

We had this same issue and it seemed as someone else said that you can change the address later.
However we did call the Lockbox Texas Office as like you every link they sent me to change the address only allowed the USA address to be changed, it did not allow a UK address to be entered.
We finally got hold of someone in the Texas office today and they advised that they won't change anything unless it is in writing. They advised we write to their office with a copy of the initial receipt so they find the correct application and just tell them by letter about the address change. I am going to do that just to be sure. I have already waiting 6 months and not heard anything....I can't deal any further delay. Good Luck!

Thank you. I am going to email the US embassy in her country who just got the paper work and inform them about the address change.

I also moved after we filled out the petition but I didn't change anything in the USCIS. When the embassy in your country receive my physically petition I email them to let them know I change my address, that's it.

Sorry I have no idea about PO box but when I submitted the inquiry on their website to ask for changing my address they responded me within 2 days. However you should wait until the embassy receive your physically petition before you send them the inquiry

Thanks! I called NVC and they said that the case has been transferred, but when I mailed the embassy, they said they haven't got it yet. I guess it takes more than a week to transfer?
