Hello, first post on this forum. I had a question regarding the document that can best be described as the "love story," basically, how did you meet, how did your relationship start etc.
My situation is somewhat complicated. I was on a business trip when I met my soon-to-be Fiancee. I was married at the time but discovered my wife was cheating on me during my business trip. Long story short, our marriage was over. However, the paperwork for our divorce had to wait for me to return to the US. During the remaining time on my business trip I met my future Fiancee. So my question is; should I include any such details in the story of how we met? Anyone paying attention to my application will see that the date of my divorce is well past the dates during which my Fiancee and I were getting to know one another. I guess someone could question the propriety of that, not that it's exactly their business. Should I just leave the details out and keep it simple? Should I mention my former marriage at all?
Thanks for any advice.
