Hello my fiance and I are seeking to keep her in the country and continue working. We spoke to a lawyer today about the costs and requirements for everything she needs.
At the moment she is on a J1 visa working on 1 year internship. They said it was going to be about 1950$ without government fees tied in.
This is a little steep so we found this website by simply googling whether we should or need a lawyer to do this.

She has two masters degrees and speaks six languages so I feel it wouldn't be to hard to convince the government she is of value to the country and not a problem.

I have read through some of the guide on k1,k3, etc. and looked at the forms but because I'm new to this we'd appreciate any kind of assistance or advice.

The pages I've read so far are...
