Police certificates

I am a Canadian in the K1 process with my fiance from Florida. I have lived in many countries over the years - over a year in France and Thailand and nearly a year in a few other countries. Does anyone know, will they expect police certificates from these countries or only Canada? I don't think I can get anythign from Thailand, and I found a form to download for France but although I was married to a French man when I worked there it was 'under the table' in a tourist area so I was never registered....
Any advice appreciated.

i got some serious problem too,..about the police clearance i want to know how long it will take to get a reponse to my request in france regading my police clearance..im going to go for interview first month of january..is anyone can help me pls.. ,..i really want to marry my fiance his from california..thanks for your attention..just call me thess
