K1 Visa National Visa Center Notification

Who will notify me when my Visa Package has been received from USCIS? Does this come from USCIS or the National Visa Center? Is it mailed or do they send an email notice like USCIS?

The National Visa Center mails you a letter about 4-6 weeks after USCIS approves your K1 petition. The NVC letter will give you the new case number (State Department number) with an acronym representing the Consulate which will be processing the visa.

Thanks! It's only been about 3 weeks so far since USCIS approved.
