  • Will previous F1 denials affect K1 visa?

    Hi everyone,

    My case overview:

I have been in USA for 2,5 years. Initially i had J1 visa and then i made status change into F1. I had approved legal student status for 3 years. I met my boyfriend who is US Citizen last year.

But i returned to my home country to apply for student visa F1.

I got denied twice, 214(b). First denial my boyfriend was my sponsor ( he was listed as family friend), second denial i put my father as an sponsor. I applied 10 days apart if that is important. I didnt want to disrupt my studies.

Since we are having really hard time being apart we decided to do K1 visa. Our relationship is genuine ( no questions here).

After my denials in January, he came to London in February to give me emotional support. I dont normally live in London. I am macedonian citizen.

What do you think of my situation? What are my chances?

    Thank everyone.

An INA214(b) analysis is not done for K-1 visas.
By definition, all K-1 applicants will fail a 214(b) analysis.
