I sent my I-130 about a month ago and I filed my taxes yesterday for the last year. I am worried because the tax person marked my filing status as SINGLE. He said because I didn't have an ITN! and my spouse hasn't been in the US and has no SSN. I don't know if I need to do something about my taxes before sending my I-130. Will this cause an issue for my I-130 petition?

The filing status won't be an issue, but your tax preparer is wrong. You can apply for an ITIN (Tax identification Number) with your tax return, using form W-7.
