  • We don't want to live in US, which temporary visitor visa best? K3 or B2?

My Belizean fiance and I plan to marry and live in Belize; I am a US citizen. I just want to bring him here after the wedding to meet my family and friends who won't be able to attend the event, and also to help me pack up my household goods for shipment to our new home.
Does a Fiance Visa offer any advantage in this situation over a regular B visa? Or might he obtain his B visa more promptly after we wed?
All of the advice and rules seem geared toward people who want to live in the US with their foreign-born spouse, but I know we're not alone!
    Anyone have any insight?
    Many thanks!

You may have to wait an incredibly long time for the K visa so that may not be appealing. Also it's not really intended for just a temporary visit so not sure about the legality. Then again, people decide to move all the time sooooo I guess it's up to you.

For what you are wanting to do the B visa would be the better option. The problem will be to convince the consulate that you are not getting the B visa to get married in the US and stay. The fiance (k1) visa is to come to the US to get married within 90 days and then start the paperwork to stay, that one would be time consuming and not what you are wanting to do...
This is my opinion not legal advice.
