Been 7 month married and 6 months from time we filed for adjustment of status and still no resident card. Why? Wife is temp working but can't get driver license because ss card still said work only. And can't get the ss card changed until status change from imagination any help?

A six-month wait from submittal of Adjustment paperwork is not unusual. Check the USCIS status page by receipt number for your Biometrics and/or I-485 to see if any special updates are posted: https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do
