Hello,
I am posting this on behalf of my brother. He married a US citizen in the US when he was on an H1B visa and submitted his paper work. His wife filed for a G.C and he had his interview etc and his case just shows as administrative processing for 4 years!
He lives in India with his wife and it is getting difficult for her to live there( she's not Indian)
Whenever he emails the embassy, he just gets a generic email saying that the case is under administrative processing and he will be contacted when the case proceeds.
Is there any hope for this case? will it help if he hires a lawyer? We tried contacting the senators over here and they sent letters to the US embassy, but it hasn't helped.
