we applied for the visa last october (2014), and it has been almost 6 months since we've applied and
we haven't gotten our NOA2 yet. I saw a lot of people getting their NOA2 who applied in november 2014 for the visa
and I'm starting to get really worried.
My family and friends could only make it to the wedding if it was in August and we have already planned a wedding and booked a venue and everything.
we have also applied for the expedite service and even though they said they'd contact us in 5 days, it's been 2 weeks and still nothing.
Is it still possible that I would get my VISA approved and all ready to go to the US before August?

    Gabi,

For what class of visa are you applying? Is it for the fiancee of a U.S. citizen?

Yes, I'm the fiancee of a US citizen.

Your processing seems to be slower than most other fiancee petitions for which we have been getting reports. Have you checked the USCIS status page at:
https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do which would tell you if the petition has been approved or an evidennce request sent to you (but not received by you)?

We have received NOA 1, and we're currently waiting on the NOA 2.
It says my case is received when I check my case status.
We did receive a letter asking to make sure my address is correct, since my nationality is in a different country than where I was born and raised and currently live.
But it says to only call them if we need to make any changes, so we didn't call them since we did not need to make any changes.
