Marrying a citizen..

I'm 20 yrs old, attending college and just got married to my 18 yr old girlfriend.. I came to the U.S. from Mexico 11 yrs ago, my aunt who is a citizen filed a petition for my family like 8 yrs ago. We got approved now were waiting for them to call us, they told my mom that she has 2-3 more years to wait.. and they also told her that they'll have to take me out the petition since im over 18 now.. My question is how hard would it be for me to get papers through my wife? like i said she's 18 (turning 19 in May) and i'm 20.. Any help would be appreciated.. thanks.
