This office regrets to inform you that it is unable to issua visa to you because you have been found ineligible to receive a visa under the following section(s) of the Immigration and Nationality Act. The information contained in the paragraphs marked with an 'X' pertain to you visa application. Please diregard the unmarked paragraphs.
Section 221(g) which prohibits the issuance of a visa to anyone who application does not comply with the provisions of the Immigration and Nationality Act or regulations issued pursuant thereso. The following remarks apply in your case.*
Section 221(g) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) prohibits a consular officer from issuing a visa to an alien if the CO has reason to believe that the alien is ineligible. Based on indications that your petition contains false statements and based on information obtained during your interview process that has caused the interviewing officer to beleive that you relationship with the Petitioner is not a genuine relationship, but rather one entered into solely in order to provide you with an immigration benefit in which you are not entitled, we are returning the petition to the Bureau f Citizenship and Immigration Services (CIS) of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on fraud or material misrepresentation grounds. Under INA 222(f), which addresses the confidentiality of visa records, we are unable to provide any further detail.
