spousal visa

Hello everyone recently i got married in Serbia to a wonderful man who i have known for years i am a us citizen i am here now in the states to file for his i 130 form and spousal visa for him to come here..i spoke with immigration on wait times they said on there end it could take up to 5 monthes for approval then it will b sent there and possibly face a wait time for his visa there...I am reading horror stories on the waitime for these visas does anyone know how long it will take me to get my husband here from Serbia?
