Do I apply for K3 or just shoot myself ?

Hi,

I really need your help, this is very confusing.

I got married to a US Citizen in Texas but we moved back to the UK straightaway. We are now trying to move back to the US.

From the info I've read it looks best to apply for a K3 visa... So I think I'm right in thinking that we send from I-130 and as soon as I get it notice of processing I can move to the US and file I-485 AOS

or

Wait in the UK for approval of for I-130 and then apply for Consular processing .

What i need to know is:

How long do both of these processes take as I need to start working in the USA asap after getting there ?

What effect does this have on my UK passport and rights ?

Is there any fast-track process or companies you can recommend ?
