I-129f Approval

Hi all

The USCIS received our I-129f application on 15 April 2015. We have just heard today that it has been approved. Can anyone tell me the approximate timeline of what happens now? I have read several sites and they all say different things. We are yet to receive a NOA2. I am hoping to be in the US by December, is there any hope of this?

It will take 2-3 weeks at the NVC and they will then send your paperwork to the embassy, then another 3 weeks for the embassy to send you an email to prepare for your interview. That will be another 3-4 weeks to get your police clearance and medical, then about 7 weeks for your interview.

There is a chance all this can be faster, so I wouldn't lose hope. You can call the NVC and get a status update. That step should be very short. I don't know why it takes like a month for the embassy to receive the paperwork from them. I guess someone walks and gives them the paperwork.

Thanks for that. We just received the approval yesterday by email. Do you have any idea how long it will be before we receive the NOA2?
