Work in the US before K1 visa approval?

Hi all. I am having a problem here and I would truly appreciate your help.
K-1 visa for my fiance abroad is in process (received petition approval notice).
However, his company would like to have him transfer to the new US office. It is a very rare opportunity.
What should we do? Can he come on work permit and work here while the visa is in process?
Please advise. Thank you!

I don't know the exact answer to this but I'll try to give some feedback. I think it's a great opportunity to have your fiance work in the U.S. on a work permit. He will probably have to go back to his country to file/interview the non-immigrant application. Not sure, anyone else have any opinions?
Anyway, I think it will actually help your case if your fiance works here and goes back to have the interview, that way the embassy will realize that it is not a fraudulent case, or a sham petition, because he actually went back to have the interview.
