Hi there guys, I'm not sure my best route to proceed.. My girlfreind has been here two years working for a university and she was supposed to be going back to the states late next year.. Her contract was going to be cut short and she has been offered a dream job in New York starting in march, It was on my mind to propose in the new year, however now its been cut short so i need to come up with a plan immediately.
Im looking at the fiance visa, and theres a part to suggest evidence of intending to marry which i dont have.
Iv'e told her how I feel and she is supportive of the idea and is open to getting engaged and eventually married within the three months of entering.
Is it easier if she were to marry me before going to America? would that make it easier for me to get a green card? we are serious about one another so im thinking it might be best to just do it.. and have it set in stone
I really dont know a lot hence why im here and apologies if i may be being unrealistic, please help
