Hi, I was going to fill out this form for applying for a visa for my Fiance. However, I have several questions and would appreciate if someone could answer them.
(1) Is it recommended to have a legal representative file this or would filing it myself be good ? I just want to know how easy it is to file and whether someone well-versed in the process is better to do it.
(2) Question 3 in Part 1 on the form is Alien Registration Number. I am a Naturalized citizen of the US. I had an Alien Registration Number in the past but I believe this is not applicable any more since I am a citizen now. So, should I leave this blank ?
(3) Question 4 in Part 3 is a little baffling. I am not sure which one to choose. I do not have any criminal convictions. So, should I choose "Not applicable, beneficiary is my spouse" ? Additionally, I have never been married before. So, when it says spouse, does it mean my fiance ?
(4) What would be considered acceptable evidence to show that my fiance and I intend to get married within 90 days of my fiance's entry to the US ? Should we both write letters or should we have a court date for our marriage in the US ?
(5) How should additional documents/evidence be submitted ? Should all of them have headers stating it is such and such ?
Responses will be much appreciated.
