I'm currently staying in Japan with my wife until my papers get approved
I've got the i-130 approved and nvc sent me the letter with my case number and login ID
Where it stated choose an agent, I filled out the form but I chose "no" to the do you have an agent or a lawyer for this case {was this the right thing to do since I'm currently not in the US and there is no one who willingly wants to be my agent?}
It was an online version of the 260 form and i chose "no" to the "Do you wish to appoint an agent or attorney to receive mail about your visa application?" I filled out my parents address which is also my address so I guess all the mail will go there.. Did I do the right thing?
I paid the AOS fee which is the only fee available at the moment. The fee was 12,000 yen which is about $90
Any help would be appreciated I've searched the forum but I can't find someone with a similar issue since all the petitioners are normally already in the US.
Am I waiting for something to happen? Is someone going to contact me with further instructions? what do I do next?
