  • FIANCE VISA QUESTION: Job stability

    Hello, everyone!

I just wanted to discuss my current job status and ask a few questions about it in connection with the K1 Fiance visa I am planning to file in the next few months.

I am currently an office support employee and I am making $13 per hour who works 75 hours per week. After taxes, and all insurances charges, I am taking $1,400 every month. I have another job, caregiving (I am a Certified Nurse Assistant) for elderly client and I am working for a couple of agencies (these agencies hire me and assign me from clients to clients and I get paid through them). With my caregiving jobs, I am making, after taxes, $1,400 with one client each month, and $1,000 with another each month (Yes, I have two different agencies but both in the caregiving field). In total, I am making $3,800 take home money every month. And I started working this hard since October when I came back from the Philippines and decided to file a K1 visa for my Fiance. Though, in the past year, I was making $2,600 (from office work and previous caregiving work) all taxes taken away, each month.

I am single and I don't have any kids. So at this point, all I have to worry about is my Fiance and myself. I am obviously making a very decent amount of money because I have 3 jobs.

My question is, though, will working 3 jobs JUST TO prove I can reach the POVERTY GUIDELINES affect my Fiance's visa application negatively? Will they consider caregiving a stable job? Considering clients come and go (pass away)?
