My son filed on July 17, 2015 and after 12 days was told it is approved and would be sent to the NVC in Houston, Texas. Months went by, we heard nothing, and called and they said we have to wait 5 months before contacting them. After 5 and a half months went by, we get a letter saying it has been forward to the NVC in NH. So at the end of January we should contact them if we have not heard anything. Mean while I have met others that started the process in September, same exact visa for spouse from the same country and have already paid their fees to NVC and have that process started. So why is there such a difference in whose case they handle when?
