Hi everyone, we are on the K-1 visa we are currently doing the checklist for the interview sent from the consulate (hongkong) she is originally from Philippines but works in HK. we have a few questions we can't find anywhere online about
1. the checklist has marriage cert check box and divorce check box. she has never been married so do we check these boxes or not? we are worried they will ask where these are at in the interview if we check them... and we are worried the checklist wont be "complete" to their eyes if we dont check the box.
2. the police clearance and cert of no marriage is going to take 4-8 weeks to arrive at the consulate. after we complete the checklist can we send in the checklist before the cert and police clearence arrive? we want minimize the wait time and get the medical done and schedule the interview as soon as the cert and police clearances arrive.
3. what happens if she has her interview before cert and police clearance arrive? is it automatically denied or is the visa processing on hold till those show up?
Thanks for your guy's help in advanced!
