Divorce after k1 visa

After 8 years of marriage my Filipina wife wants a divorce. We have two children together. She decided to let me have custody of the kids. We've decided to go our separate ways peacefully.
Even though you think I would feel burned by the process. I've met a new woman from Philippines who I plan on going to see you in a few months. Will my previous marriage cause me any problems getting a new K1 Visa. After all I was married to my wife for 8 years and have two children with her.its not like it was a sham marriage.
I really care about this girl. We're starting to get serious. I'd like to go ahead and find out now how difficult this will be before I get in too deep.

With one obviously failed foreign marriage, the US will be wary of a second petition from the same country. Philippines is regarded is a high fraud nation with respect to sham marriages, as you alluded; red flags.. a second K1 is one.. will attract significantly greater scrutiny.

Second marriages with Filipinas are routinely approved for visas at the Manila Embassy so long as the normal evidence of relationship is provided and the new wife intrerviews reasonably well. Unlike Vietnam and Cambodia U.S. embassies, the Manila Embassy is not that quick to deny with the generic "insufficient proof of bonified relationship."
