i485 filed last April (2015) but still no word from USCIS

Hi

I arrived on a K1 visa, filed for adjustment of status and EOD in April 2015. I went for my biometrics appointment and received my EOD car in JULY. I got a letter stating our interview was waived. However I still haven't received any reply, I recently applied for a renewal of my work authorization since even thats about to run out in June.

Is this normal? Anyone else who has had to wait this long, is there anything I should be doing proactively?
