Hello everyone,
New to all this. I'm the foreign fiance and we've been checking together every day about the status change in USCIS. It seems NOA1 to NOA2 is taking long time. After we've been reading around, it shows that the TSC center has transferred all their I-129F's to CSC center, which can be one of the reasons it takes more then 30 - 40 days from what was originally expected.
What stresses us out is, my girl and I are expecting to have a little baby around mid August. It is already enough stress that I'm missing out on her doctors appointments and the planning part, so I was wondering if it is allowed to travel to the states to witness the birth of our first child. I mean they can't be that hard on things like that, or are they?
I called USCIS and somehow came through their complex structure of different menu options and fortunately I got to speak with someone who said, it shouldn't be a problem using my ESTA to come and visit my fiance for our child's birth.
Has anyone else here experience about this being an issue?
Thanks in advance,
Nick
