Change from O1 Working visa to Fiance visa

HI all.

So I have a valid working visa, O1 that is up mid year 2017. My fiance and I are getting married in August. I am looking into the process for application of green card after marriage etc.

Is it better for me to transfer my visa from the O1 to the K1 visa, and then get married and file appropriate papers for Green card?

Or is it better to just wait, get married and then apply for green card.

Any help would be great
