So after a long and stressful wait, we still haven't received an NoA1 but we received a letter with the contact numbers and addresses on of USCIS

It also says NBC. I've heard of our cases being forwarded to NVC but what's the NBC, and why are cases sent there for the i129F for a K1

Did they cash the check? If so perhaps you just got the wrong form letter, it happens. If not......

So NBC would stand for National Benefits Center. As far as I know they do not process I-129Fs. Since this is the 2nd time you are having issues all I can recommend is finding someone to help with all the forms. It just sounds like something is not being completed properly.

Even though I am confident that with all the online resources available I could have done it all myself, my fiancee liked what she heard from some friends about Rapid Visa. We used them and they caught a couple of things that could have caused an RFE, not that there is a guarantee we still will not get one, but it was nice to have someone review the entire package. They will even mail everything for you if you so desire for an additional fee.

A lawyer is also an option, but that is even more expensive, and they cannot provide any additional help than Rapid Visa does. All any service can really do is review what you gathered and tell you if something is missing or incorrect.

Either way, USCIS will tell you to wait at least 2 months before refiling again..... I would strongly suggest due to your difficulties, if you must refile a third time, in getting third party help.
