Can I still file the I-130 for my Spouse if I never received a Citizenship Certificate. I was born outside of USA, I became US Citizen through my parents. they never paid for a citizenship certificate paper. I only have a US Passport to prove I am a US citizen.
I have read online that many lawyers say that you can just show copies of your Passport instead of using your Certificate of Citizenship, it should be enough to prove my citizenship.
Also, i have read many people have successfully submitted and got their applications approved by the embassy even without the citizenship certificate paper.
