Missed my visa appointment. Anyone has an experience? Need your help.

Hello there! I hope you can help me out. I missed my visa appointment last aug. 23,2016 because of my chicken pox. The doctor didnt allow me to travel. Now I tried to reschedule it but it was too late for me. The agent told me to just call 24 hrs after my interview. Yesterday I called them and told me to just wait for the feed back from the us embassy. My mrv needs to be reactivated since i wasnt able to attend my appointment. Its been two days now and got no email from the embassy. I need to have an appoinment asap because our processing time will expire soon. Will it help if i will just pay another mrv so that I can schedule right away? Or if a pay for a new mrv will I still not be able to schedule myself because of the pending "no show"?
