Hello everyone!
I’m waiting for my EAD based on K1 and wondering how much long I have to wait. Here is my timeline:
April 28th, 2016 - - - > Got married to my US Citizen husband
May 27th, 2016 - - - > Sent package to USCIS
June 20th, 2016 - - - > Received biometrics appointment in the mail
June 27th, 2016 - - - > Biometrics done
July 28th, 2016 - - - > Got RFE
August 8th, 2016 - - - > Submitted Initial Evidence to USCIS
August 11th, 2016 - - - > USCIS received my response to the RFE
Since August 11th my online case status has said: On August 11, 2016, we received your response to our Request for Evidence for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number xxxxxxxxxxxxx. Our National Benefits Center office will begin working on your case again. We will mail you a
decision or notify you if we need something from you. If you move, go
to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
So is it gonna take up to 3 months from August 11th because they requested for INITIAL but not ADDITIONAL EVIDENCE?? or maybe less? The office is based in MISSOURI if that can help.
Your help is much appreciated!! I know I have to wait and be patient but I wanna know for how long. Thank you so much guys!!
