AOS Based on Mariage - i864 Question ?
Hello, I am applying for my wife's AOS. She arrived on K1 and we got married with in 90days.
I have a question regarding the Affidavit of Support (i864).
I am a freelance musician and I earn my living by playing music for clients.
My clients usually give me checks for my performances. I do not have a registered company since I am an individual artiste who plays music.
I have filed my taxes and have all my IRS tax returns.
My question is as follows:
I do not have any W2's or 1099s because I receive my income in form of personal checks from my clients directly.
In i864 form they ask for Tax returns along with W2. Since I do not have W2's, can I include copies of the checks I have received as proof of income ?
I will really appreciate if you could answer the above question or advice me.
